This training course on Labor Law, Employment Contract Drafting & Employee Taxation Masterclass 2020 is designed for those who wish to gain an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of Thailand Labor laws and regulations, key updates of labor laws, hiring foreign employees, as well as the critical legal & taxation issues concerning the current employer-employee relationship.

About Course Leader

This course will be conducted by four course leaders. The first one is an experienced commercial litigator and dispute resolution lawyer, whose practice mainly focuses on various aspects of business law, including construction disputes, M&A and labor & employment related matters. He also has substantial expertise in both international and domestic arbitration including those concerning labor & employment disputes.

Second course leader is a partner who specializes in labor & employment law, corporate & commercial law and commercial contracts. She has been a guest speaker on Thai employment law for several international and domestic events and from time to time she takes part as a part-time lecturer for few universities in Thailand. She is also a regular contributor to a number of local and international law journals.

Third is a partner specialising in corporate and commercial law, with a unique cross-jurisdictional understanding of European and Thai legal systems. She regularly assists international and domestic corporate clients on the relevant laws. She handles a multitude of different legal formalities in order to ensure that her clients comply with Thai law, including advising on Thai company law, stimulus packages and various investment promotion policies of the Board of Investment (BOI), and compliance with foreign business and working laws to the salient points of shareholders and joint venture agreements.

The other course leader is a partner and was previously a legal officer with the Revenue Department. She has 15 years of tax consulting experience. Her specialties including corporate income tax, personal income tax, international tax, value added tax, specific business tax, stamp duty and petroleum income tax. She has extensive experience on cross border transactions, tax inspection, petroleum business and legal matters. In addition, she has advised numerous clients on establishing operations in Thailand as well as carrying out numerous tax due diligence assignments for potential investors.
