Moreover, in view of the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015, foreign investors continue to look to Thailand as a bridgehead for the ASEAN single market and production based. The development has a significant impact on the construction industry. It is estimated that, from 2012 to 2016, the state will invest in other infrastructure mega-projects worth over US$ 72 billion, ranking first among ASEAN countries in terms of project value. Of this budget, US$ 46 billion will be allocated to ground infrastructure, including road and railways; US$ 5 billion will go towards air and water transport; US$ 16 billion for energy-related infrastructure; US$ 1 billion for communications systems; and US$ 4 billion for public works.

The objective of this training course is to provide the participants with practical and effective strategies for negotiating and managing construction contracts from the viewpoints of both developers/project owners and contractors. In particular, the training course will cover legal, tax, risk and project management perspectives for negotiating (pre) and managing (post) contract execution.

Another is a well versed corporate litigator, having built up a sterling reputation for his expertise in more than 20 years of practicing law. He specializes in conducting litigation proceedings with a particular focus in the fields of IT, IP, telecommunications & media, banking and labor laws. Throughout his prolific professional career, he has advocated frequently on contentious bankruptcy and business reorganization issues, as well as assisting on debt restructuring agreements and banking & finance casework.
